Welcome to the PS/MS 96 website!

PS/MS 96 is located at 216 East 120 th Street in East Harlem. Our school houses students in grades Pre K-8. We take pride in our school community of students, teachers, families and staff.

Leading our community are Principal Noel Rios, Assistant Principal Tracey Wright and Assistant Principal Barbara Stancil supported by approximately 30 classroom teachers and support staff, who are all hard at work to make P.S.96 a wonderful and positive learning environment for children.

CYO Baseball @ PS/MS 96

We are pleased to announce that CYO Baseball has joined forces with us to form our very own baseball team. Students have participated in learning the fundamentals of the sport. Through ongoing practices, they have learned new strategies to improve their game. We look forward to you cheering on our “Mustangs” as they participate in the Middle School PSAL competitive league this upcoming spring semester 2010.

Thanks to the generousity of one of our New York Cares Volunteers, we went to see Mary Poppins on Broadway. It was an amazing day!!!
